2009 August | Vancouver Skateboard & Snowboard Shop | Street to Snow Outlet - Part 2

Warehouse/Sample + Re-grand Opening Sale!

It’s back! Street to Snow is throwing another warehouse/sample sale this weekend! We had a crazy turnout during the Spring sale so be sure to come early. Sale prices start from $10 for tees, $10 for denim, $10 hats, $19 for shoes and much more.

The sale will be at the new location:

3807 Hastings Street in Burnaby. Just 1 block East of Boundary and 3 blocks East of our old location & Kootney Bus Loop.

The sale is on for 2 days only, Saturday Aug 22nd and Sunday the 23rd.

Our sale hours will be Saturday (Aug 22nd) 10am-6pm and Sunday (Aug 23rd) 11am-5pm.

We’re also combining this sale with our move to our new bigger and better location 3807 Hastings St. I won’t lie, we’re pretty stoked on this new spot. On top of all this awesomeness it’s also our one year anniversary! We can’t believe it’s been a year already and we would like to thank all of our awesome customers, without you this wouldn’t be possible. We’ll keep supplying the deals for years to come!

United Nations – RVCA

Check out the new video over on The Berrics featuring the RVCA skate team. They closed the skatepark for 3 whole days for them so they could film a little video for our viewing pleasure. There’s even a few tricks from local Vancouver ripper, Keegan Sauder.

Awesome.

I titled this post “Awesome” because I truly think this post is about something awesome. I just read an interview with Rick Klotz, the man behind Freshjive and other brands such as RMK and Warriors of Radness. Rick has decided to completely remove branding on the Freshjive line, which is a bold-ass move but also very kick-ass move in my opinion.

Most people in business would advise against this but he just doesn’t care what you think. He’s doing what he wants and he feels peeps are just to concerned with what they’re rocking, what logo is on their shirt and the need to belong to something. I’m personally stoked to see what the 2010 line will look like, it’s definitely going to be a challenge forĀ  Rick.

Fortune

I wanted to throw up this post about a new club opening up in town, I usually wouldn’t bother if it was another club but this one is owned and operated by GMAN and RIZK. The well known promoters that bring a large number of dope hip-hop shows to Vancity. They are also a part of the great minds behind Livestock and Timebomb. Fortune is located in a heritage part of Chinatown. It’s a bit off the beaten path but that’s something I personally prefer.

They ere both featured in The Province for their new venture, click HERE to read on.

Site may be down while upgrading

Heya!

I am just going to be updating the Street to Snow website. Due to the upgrades, the site may be down for a little bit. I have backed up the original, so if I monkey this up, I will still have the old version to revert to.

Cheers!
