Ryan Decenzo Video
Check out episode five from Globe’s United By Fate. It has local Surrey boy, Ryan Decenzo. A lot of BC skaters are getting tons of exposure lately. Keep a look out, they’re tearing up the scene….
Bo knows?? No… Mo Knows!
Check out this super sweet ad from Lakai! I used to rock a sick Bo Knows tee in grade 6, ahhhh good memories.
Skateboard Week
It’s official, June 15-22 is skateboard week. It’s nice to see that the city is actually working to promote skateboarding as opposed to working against it. Way to go city officials!

Emerica Wild in the Streets
Emerica’s Wild in the Street team is coming to Canada for the first time! It will actually be the first time they’ve gone outside of the US so be sure to attend this epic event. The meet will be at The Plaza and will continue on to local spots in the city and the DIY park, LeeSide. If it gets rained out that day the meet will take place at LeeSide.
This whole event is actually based on raising awareness about Lee Matasi, a local legend who was shot and killed in 2005 but lives on through his vision which is the LeeSide skatepark. The goal is to raise money to support and grow LeeSide and the local skateboarding community as a whole. Do your part and join the massive group of skaters that will be attending this event on June 21st and rush the streets of Vancity!
Another Saturday at Street to Snow…
So we’re chilling at the store on a usual Saturday afternoon when we’re all of a sudden blessed with a visit from Helmet & Eddy! The guys behind Ultra-Limited. Peep the photos:
And then out of nowhere comes Nolte! What an action packed day!!
The real reason behind this post is to document the elusive custom wooden handlebars on Helmet’s whip. You only really hear about this kinda stuff and it’s truly the type of magic dreams are made of. Apparently If you ask him nice enough you can contract Helmet to fix you up one.
